Happy Thanksgiving
An unknown author wrote this prayer about encouraging others: “O God, wherever I go today, help me leave heartprints! Heartprints of compassion, understanding, and love. Heartprints of kindness and genuine concern. May my heart touch a lonely neighbor or runaway daughter or anxious mother or even an aged grandfather. Send me out today to leave heartprints. And if someone should say, ‘I felt your touch,’ may that one sense Your love touching through me.”
Will you make this your prayer today?

The family of 23-year-old Pablo Cerdagrieves their son's death
By: Bryan Hahn
That blaze destroyed 54 buildings -- including homes -- and charred more than 40,000 acres. But the loss of five firefighters has impacted the fire community the most.
"In the hearts of the Forest Service and all the fire service community, Pablo will truly be honored at this Sunday's memorial service for the brave ... all five brave firefighters who lost their lives on the Esperanza Fire," says U.S. Forest Service supervisor Jeane Wade-Evans.
Flags will continue to fly half-staff at all U.S. Forest Service stations until all five firefighters are buried.
