Hello, My name is Jerry and I'm a Foodaholic

Yup...that's right...I'm addicted to food, or at least addicted to eating. I've gained WAY too much weight and am in the worst shape, physically, I've ever been in. So... It's time to get serious and do something about it. I went kicking and screaming ( more link whining and crying) with Debbie on Saturday to weight watchers. While sitting there I realized I was acting like a two year old whining about eating green beans or going to bed. Any way I decided to go ahead and join and give it my all, to support Debbie and to give her the best me I can give her. She's lost one husband and she certainly don't need to loose me to shear stupidity. SO.... Along with the Weight Watchers program I'll try ( yes try ) to post my progress or the lack there of here as just another way to keep me motivated.

Today ( as "they" say ) is the first day of the rest of my life.

Starting out at 237.6 pounds and hopefully counting down. We don't have a scale at home so I will post my weekly weigh in's here on Saturday of each week.

Good luck Jerry!

I joined WeightWatchers about a year ago, and have lost 29.6 lbs. I have 20 to go to goal. My best friend joined with me, and has lost over 60, and my sis-in-law has lost 80. It does work!

The best thing has not been the actual loss of pounds. I just feel so much better eating the healthy foods, increasing my activity, and following the healthy tips. And that started within the first couple weeks.

BTW, I am a "lurker" on your blog, but I thought I'd come out and say "hi!"
